چکیده

The article presents the results of laboratory studies on ore flotation copper-molybdenum deposits in East Kazakhstan region using a combined reagent. It is required to use new beneficiation methods and reagents increase efficiency minerals improve processing finely disseminated ores. problem can be solved by combination different collectors. objective research recovery copper molybdenum during studied sample contains 0.42% copper; 0.009% molybdenum. A sodium butyl xanthate, TS-100 thionocarbamate, reaflot ratio, %: 15: 3: 1, was used as reagent preliminarily passed through an ultrasonic homogenizer JY96-IIN obtain microemulsion before flotation. optimum dispersion time for 60 seconds. At same time, 99.4% are particles with particle size fewer than 3.7 microns. increases extraction into concentrate 3.69%, 6.05%. content 1.26%. tailings decreases from 0.07 0.056%. consumption reduced 15% comparison basic xanthate.

Reducing the Entrainment of Gangue Fines in Low Grade Microcrystalline Graphite Ore Flotation Using Multi-Stage Grinding-Flotation Process

A suitable grinding fineness and flow-sheet could potentially reduce the mechanical entrainment of gangue minerals in the flotation process of microcrystalline graphite. In this study, the suitable grinding fineness of a commercial graphite ore was estimated by mineralogy analysis and laboratory grind-flotation tests. The target grind size of this ore should be 92% passing 74 μm based on the mi...

Air bubbles in iron ore green pellets due to flotation reagent: characterization by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray microtomography

Iron ore concentrate is enriched by flotation prior to form iron ore green pellets in order to reduce phosphorus content in the ore concentrate. A flotation reagent is used in this process and it is known to incorporate air bubbles and eventually deteriorate the strength of the pellets. These bubbles were therefore characterized both qualitatively and quantitatively by cryogenic scanning electr...
